Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Timber Hill Self Catering Cedar Lodges is a highly recommended retreat, praised for its idyllic location and excellent amenities. Nestled in the tranquil surroundings of nature, the lodges offer breathtaking views and peaceful settings, perfect for relaxation and exploration in Pembrokeshire. Guests appreciate the short walk through scenic woods to the beach and the village of Broad Haven, along with easy access to hiking trails and the Wales Coast Path. Privacy and serenity are emphasized, making it an ideal escape while still providing convenient access to local attractions and multiple beaches.
The lodges themselves are well-maintained, modern and spotlessly clean, providing comfort with cosy cabins and comfortable beds. Although a few reviews noted minor inconsistencies such as outdated flooring or unclean dishes, the overall cleanliness standards are commendably high. The property is spacious, tidy and well-equipped, enhancing the experience for families and pets.
Staff at Timber Hill receive exceptional praise for their friendliness and helpfulness. The welcoming atmosphere created by the attentive and accessible staff ensures that all needs are promptly addressed, contributing significantly to the positive experiences of guests. Whether handling queries, accommodating special requests or simply providing a warm reception, the service is highly efficient and personable.
While the free WiFi service garners mixed reviews with some guests experiencing connectivity issues, this minor setback does not overshadow the overwhelmingly positive feedback on other amenities and services. Comfort stands out in the reviews, particularly with regard to the beds, which are frequently described as very comfortable despite some variations in personal preferences regarding firmness.
For pet owners, Timber Hill is a standout choice, offering truly dog-friendly facilities without extra costs. The location's peacefulness and accessibility to fields, forest walks and beaches make it an excellent destination for those exploring with their furry friends.
In summary, Timber Hill Self Catering Cedar Lodges offers a fantastic base for traveling around Pembrokeshire, combining natural beauty, comfort, cleanliness, exceptional staff and genuine pet-friendly policies to create a memorable and relaxing getaway.
