Sonesta Simply Suites Chicago O'Hare Airport garners high marks from guests, primarily due to its exceptionally convenient location near O'Hare International Airport. The hotel is an ideal choice for travelers needing proximity to the airport, thanks to an efficient 24/7 shuttle service that ensures seamless access to and from the terminal. While the surrounding area may lack vibrancy, the hotel’s practicality for business travelers and its close proximity to the Fashion Outlet of Chicago make it a strategically advantageous choice.
Guests frequently laud the spacious and impeccably clean rooms, which resemble one-bedroom apartments. Equipped with full kitchens—complete with microwaves, stoves, refrigerators and dishwashers—the rooms offer a high level of convenience, particularly for those planning longer stays. Modern furnishings, comfortable beds and a quiet environment contribute to an overall relaxing experience. The cleanliness of the hotel is particularly noteworthy with numerous reviews praising the immaculate rooms, bathrooms and overall property hygiene. Although there are sporadic comments about needing improvement in certain areas, the general sentiment points to a well-managed and clean establishment.
The staff receives consistent praise for their friendliness and helpfulness, especially the front desk team, who are described as welcoming and accommodating. While the exceptional customer service is a defining trait of the hotel, some guests noted occasional instances of rudeness, but these were rare.
Parking at the hotel is spacious and affordable for long-term stays, although the additional fees for overnight parking came as an unwelcome surprise to some guests. Nevertheless, the ample parking space and overall reasonable costs are seen as positives.
The beds in the main rooms are repeatedly described as very comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep. However, the pull-out sofa beds do not share the same level of comfort, receiving criticism for being less than ideal. Minor complaints also include the main beds being smaller or softer than some guests prefer.
For business travelers, the hotel's proximity to the airport, secure business center, complimentary shuttle service and swift check-in process make it an excellent choice. Offering good value for money and a substantial array of amenities, Sonesta Simply Suites Chicago O'Hare Airport stands out as a prime option for both short and extended stays.
