The pool at Pennyhill Park Hotel and Spa seems to have received mixed reviews. Some guests have raved about the beautiful pool, both indoor and outdoor and the amazing spa facilities. They especially loved the outdoor heated whirlpool that made it possible to swim even in winter. The pool bar has great food and drink options, but some guests complained that the service around the pool was terribly slow. Other guests found the swimming facilities overcrowded and some were disappointed that the pool closed at 7pm. The limited spa facilities were also a concern for some and they wished that the price reflected the unavailability of certain amenities. Nevertheless, the pool area itself was lovely and some guests described it as an amazing first spa experience for their teenagers. On a cautionary note, one guest's little one caught a cold from being outside in the pool.

The pool at Macdonald Frimley Hall Hotel & Spa received mixed reviews from guests. Some enjoyed the inviting and pleasant swimming pool, while others found it freezing and noisy due to classes or children. Unfortunately, children have limited swimming time and are not allowed in the pool after 6 pm. The pool is located in a separate building and is shared with residents from outside the hotel, so it can be too full at times. However, the spa and pool facilities were great overall with refreshing refreshments available at the pool area. Some guests experienced issues with the maintenance of the pool or slippery poolside. While there were no kids' meals offered, the swimming pool was extremely warm, clean and pleasant.

Guests who were looking forward to relaxing in Harbour Hotel & Spa Guildford's pool varied in their experiences. Some found the indoor pool to be tiny and complain of rowdy fellow swimmers who jumped in and splashed water while they were poolside. Others enjoy the spa jacuzzi but found it barely warm enough. A recurring complaint was the extra fee for pool access, which many felt should be included in the already high room rate. Some guests even claimed that they didn't use the pool because of this additional charge. Along with the loud music, visitors felt that the access to the pool could be improved to justify the extra fee.
