Hotel Villa Borghi is housed in a beautiful historic villa, offering a pleasing aesthetic that exudes charm and elegance. Despite this, guests often express disappointment with the hotel's standards and services in relation to its four-star rating. Reviewers consistently note that the hotel falls short in several areas typically expected of a four-star property. These include basic amenities such as a coffee maker, kettle, bathrobe, slippers and even cosmetic tissues in the bathroom.
Moreover, the cleanliness and upkeep of the premises seem to be lacking with guests highlighting the need for a renovation. The morning meal quality does not live up to four-star expectations and the breakfast is described as average. Some guests have also mentioned that the service provided by the staff does not match the professionalism one might anticipate from a hotel of this rating.
Issues extend to the heating system, which is controlled remotely, causing discomfort for some during colder periods. The spa area, while described as nice, is criticized for being small and overpriced. This restricted access, combined with the high cost, detracts from the guest experience.
Overall, while the aesthetic appeal of Hotel Villa Borghi as a historic villa is undeniable, many find that its four-star rating is not justified given the gaps in service, facility quality and overall standards.

Hotel Residence Montelago appears to have caused some confusion among its guests regarding its rating and services. While some visitors booked expecting a 4-star experience, many felt that both the rooms and amenities fell short of this standard with certain facilities only meeting a 3-star level. The breakfast, in particular, received mixed reviews: guests repeatedly indicated that it did not live up to the expectations set by a 4-star rating, noting the offerings were more akin to those of a 2-star establishment and could use significant improvement. Overall, while there was no explicit mention of positive experiences in the provided extracts, there seems to be a consensus that the hotel does not fully align with the advertised 4-star classification.
