We use solar energy to power the self contained accommodation including the power to pump water from the river with minimal gas usage for cooking appliances. Guests stay in 6000 acres of untouched bushland where native animals thrive due to the lack of humans over most of the property. Guests enjoy bushwalking, horse riding and canoeing as activities which offers minimal disturbance over a small portion of the total land area. The river is not dammed and naturally flows its course. It is full of wildlife.
