The serene and picturesque environment, combined with easy access to public transportation and local restaurants, makes it an excellent base for sightseeing and relaxation. The historic building and charming furnishings further enhance the guest experience.
Although the lack of a breakfast option has left some guests disappointed, the pension compensates with spacious, clean rooms featuring Baroque or antique décor that adds to the historic ambiance of the old villa. Modern, well-equipped bathrooms are frequently praised and additional conveniences like a self-service fridge in the hallway contribute to a comfortable stay despite occasional complaints about cold rooms or worn-out furniture.
Cleanliness is generally well-maintained with particular praise for the spotless bathrooms. However, some guests reported issues with worn stairwells, frayed towels and occasional indoor insects. Despite these concerns, the overall sentiment is positive, valuing the good service and cozy atmosphere.
The staff at PP Pension Potsdam are frequently characterized by their warmth and helpfulness. Guests appreciate the friendly and accommodating nature of the team, particularly the landlady, who is often lauded for her responsiveness and hospitality. The straightforward check-in and check-out process adds to the welcoming experience.
Parking options are praised for their convenience with both free and paid spots available, including secure parking in the courtyard. Although some mention the additional cost for secure parking, the ease and availability of parking facilities overall enhance the guest experience.
However, Wi-Fi service at PP Pension Potsdam receives mixed reviews. While some guests find it adequate, many report significant issues with weak, unreliable connections and difficulties obtaining the password. This has led to frustrations that somewhat dampen the stay for some visitors.
The beds offer a mixed experience; while many guests praise the size and comfort of the beds, others report issues with sagging mattresses and creaky frames. Despite these concerns, the quiet and pleasant ambiance of the hotel generally leaves a positive impression.
Overall, PP Pension Potsdam is highly regarded for its excellent location, charming and spacious rooms and friendly staff, making it a favored choice for both short visits and extended stays. Some areas like Wi-Fi and breakfast service may need improvement, but the pension’s strengths in comfort, cleanliness and convenience make it a delightful retreat in Potsdam.

The beautifully furnished historic building exudes a romantic ambiance that appeals to many guests.
The apartments are noted for their spacious and creatively decorated interiors, featuring a blend of historical and contemporary design elements. Guests appreciate the adventurous layout and distinctive character of the accommodations, often finding the initial unconventional decor to grow on them over time. Despite minor drawbacks such as narrow double beds and outdated kitchen and bathroom furnishings, the apartments are generally well-regarded for short stays.
However, the property struggles with cleanliness and maintenance issues. Guests have frequently mentioned dust, hair from previous occupants, stained bedding and poor bathroom hygiene. The kitchen also appears to suffer from cleanliness lapses with reports of dirty dishes and smelly refrigerators. These issues highlight the need for better upkeep and thorough renovations.
The staff receives commendation for their friendly, polite and helpful nature, particularly appreciated for their attentiveness to issues like Wi-Fi connectivity and special requests. However, some inconsistencies in service and adherence to safety protocols have been mentioned, indicating room for improvement in achieving a consistently positive guest experience.
Wi-Fi connectivity is another common concern with unreliable internet access reported to work better outside the apartments. While fully equipped, including streaming capabilities, the inconsistent Wi-Fi can be a drawback, especially for those needing a stable connection.
The beds in the apartments have received mixed reviews. While many guests find them comfortable and conducive to a good night’s sleep, others report them being too narrow for two adults, too hard or too soft or suffering from issues like sagging mattresses and squeaky frames.

Pension Zeitlos offers a welcoming environment for guests traveling with pets. Dogs are allowed in the breakfast room and the hotel's location near Babelsberg Park makes it a convenient spot for pet owners. However, there were some criticisms regarding the value for money, cleanliness and noise with mention of cobwebs in the rooms and disruptive street and train traffic. While the amenities may not fully justify the room rates for some visitors, the overall pet-friendly atmosphere is a positive highlight.
