Summarized by AI
Hotel Caserta Antica receives high praise for its picturesque location nestled in the scenic hills near the medieval village of Caserta Vecchia. Guests greatly appreciate the beautiful country setting, the tranquil environment and the easy access to notable landmarks and charming shops in the village. The hotel offers a serene experience with its lovely garden, swimming pool and peaceful surroundings.
The breakfast at Hotel Caserta Antica is generally well-regarded, featuring a variety of sweet and savory options, including freshly baked croissants and traditional Italian items. While some guests felt the breakfast could become repetitive over longer stays, the overall quality and presentation remained a highlight for most visitors. Gluten-free options further add to the positive feedback.
Dining at the hotel's restaurant is often described as excellent with many guests enjoying dinner by the pool and commending the quality and taste of the meals. The friendly and accommodating staff enhance the relaxed atmosphere, making the dining experience memorable. Although a few guests noted that the food could be more flavorful, the positive reviews far outweigh such comments with guests frequently mentioning the good value for money.
The rooms are praised for their spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort. Guests appreciate the air-conditioned rooms with charming balconies and comfortable double beds. However, some reviews pointed out that the decor and furnishings are somewhat outdated and there have been occasional maintenance issues. Despite these critiques, the overall ambiance and setting of the hotel contribute to a pleasant stay.
Cleanliness at Hotel Caserta Antica receives mixed but generally favorable feedback. Many guests note the overall cleanliness and well-maintained condition of the rooms and common areas, including the pool. Some guests, however, reported specific areas needing better cleaning, particularly in the bathrooms. Despite isolated criticisms, the hotel's cleanliness generally meets guests' expectations.
Staff at the hotel consistently receive commendation for their exceptional hospitality. Guests frequently highlight the friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism of Franco, the owner and his team. The staff's dedication to providing a welcoming and accommodating environment leaves a lasting impression on visitors.
The swimming pool is a standout feature, offering a beautiful, clean and elegant space for relaxation. Guests enjoy the poolside dining options and the scenic views of the countryside.
