Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
B&B Dimora Morelli is highly acclaimed for its superb location, providing convenient access to the historic center of Gubbio within a 10-15 minute walk. The property is strategically situated just outside the city center, offering a peaceful retreat in a quiet neighborhood while still being near the city's attractions. Ample parking options add to its appeal for driving guests.
Breakfast at B&B Dimora Morelli is generally well-received with many praising its abundance and variety. Guests enjoy fresh croissants, pastries, homemade pies and catering to dietary needs like those for celiac disease. The host's attentiveness in restocking items is noted, although suggestions for more savory options and a continental breakfast surface occasionally.
The accommodations are lauded for their spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort. Newly renovated rooms furnished with traditional decor create a cozy atmosphere. Autonomy in well-equipped apartments is appreciated, especially the larger ones with modern amenities. While most rooms are favored, some drawbacks include ground floor or basement rooms being less charming, occasional noise issues and a need for minor updates.
Cleanliness at the B&B has mixed reviews. Many guests find their rooms clean and well-maintained with daily cleaning services praised. However, some note issues like musty showers or dust, indicating occasional lapses in detailed cleaning. Despite this, the overall atmosphere remains positive and staff receive high praise for their friendliness and helpfulness, particularly Luca, the owner, who is frequently commended for his exceptional hospitality.
The Wi-Fi is generally reliable and free, although there are isolated issues with password availability. Most guests find the connection meets their expectations. Beds at the B&B present a mix of experiences with many guests finding them comfortable while others mention issues like soft, sagging mattresses or uncomfortable fold-out beds.
In summary, B&B Dimora Morelli provides a convenient, cozy and welcoming stay in Gubbio with its prime location, generous breakfast, spacious accommodations and friendly staff. There are areas for improvement, particularly in detailed cleaning and bedding quality, but the overall guest experience remains positive.
