Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Located in the heart of Savona, Due Papi is widely praised for its prime location, offering easy access to historical attractions and the cruise port. Situated in a charming ancient palace, guests enjoy the historical ambiance despite the absence of an elevator. The proximity to shops, cafés, and the sea ensures convenience, making it an excellent base for cultural exploration or seaside retreats.
The breakfast experience at Due Papi receives mixed feedback, with some guests appreciating the self-service setup and variety, while others find it limited and overly reliant on packaged items. However, coffee and fruit juice are consistently available, providing a simple morning start.
Room quality at Due Papi generally leaves a positive impression, with larger rooms featuring thoughtful details and luxurious bathrooms. Strategic location near the train station and historical sites adds charm to the stay, though some smaller rooms raise concerns about space and cleanliness. Despite these issues, Due Papi offers good value for money, highlighted by comfortable beds praised for quality sleep.
Cleanliness presents areas for improvement, as some rooms face cleanliness issues, including dusty surfaces and leaking fixtures. However, the bathrooms are typically clean, providing essential amenities.
Guests often commend the hospitable staff, notably Francesco, whose friendly demeanor and helpfulness enhance the experience. Insightful recommendations and quick responses to guest needs add to the welcoming atmosphere.
Overall, Due Papi serves as a convenient and charming base for exploring Savona, backed by excellent staff service and comfortable accommodations.
