Résidence Amal offers a generally positive experience, particularly for its strategic location and spacious rooms. Its proximity to Kedge Business School, public transportation, and local amenities like free parking are significant draws for students and professionals needing access to the Talence-Gradignan area. Guests appreciate the spacious, well-equipped apartments, which feature large windows, kitchen facilities, and cozy beds, creating a comfortable living environment.
While the accommodations are praised for their size and amenities, cleanliness remains a notable concern, with guests frequently reporting issues such as dirt, foul odors, and the presence of insects, which detract from the overall experience. Staff interactions, although sporadic due to the lack of consistent reception presence, are generally positive when available, with professional and courteous staff enhancing guest satisfaction.
The reliability of the Wi-Fi service is a major drawback, often described as non-functional and reminiscent of outdated technology, which disrupts guests' connectivity needs. While the availability of free parking is appreciated, maintenance issues such as a broken barrier and cleanliness concerns hamper its full potential.
Although the beds are generally comfortable, inconsistencies in bed size, mattress quality, and bedding conditions can affect the sleep experience. Overall, Résidence Amal offers potential for an enjoyable stay with significant room for improvement in cleanliness, staff availability, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
