If you're looking for a luxurious and family-friendly getaway, Harborside at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is the place to be. Nestled within Patriots Point, the hotel boasts a fabulous location overlooking the harbor and is conveniently located for everything Charleston has to offer. The resort has lots of amenities, including a marina and private beach and there are plenty of areas to walk or ride bikes. Guests can catch the seasonal water taxi across to downtown and explore the city's many museums and galleries. While the breakfast and dinner at Fish House received mixed reviews, reviewers appreciate the comfort of the rooms and the attentive staff. The pools and marina are also fabulous places to unwind and soak up the lovely views of the harbor and the fire pits add a cozy touch for evening relaxation. Although some rooms are on the small side and may need updating, the beds are consistently praised for their comfort. Overall, the hotel's beautiful location, value, excellent facilities and exceptional hospitality make for a pleasant stay.
