Ona Hollywood Mirage appears to have garnered a mix of reviews regarding its four-star rating and overall standards. Many guests felt that the hotel did not live up to its four-star status with comments suggesting it was more aligned with a three-star experience. Issues were noted with the food, which did not meet four-star standards and the buffet size was considered smaller than expected for such a rating. Additionally, dinner offerings fell short of expectations, often described as not very appetizing.
While some reviews were critical, noting the need for renovations and improved cleanliness, others highlighted positive aspects such as the well-maintained gardens, clean rooms and great value for money. Guests appreciated the clean and fresh lounges and the location was also noted for its cleanliness and good overall experience.
In terms of facilities, the pools received praise for their size, although there were minor issues that could use fixing. The hotel's attractive pricing was a consistent plus point mentioned in several reviews, despite some feeling that certain services, like cleaner rooms and a tastier breakfast, could enhance the experience.
Ultimately, while Hollywood Mirage has attributes that guests enjoyed, many agree that the property needs updates and improvements to truly reflect a four-star rating. With the right adjustments, it has the potential to be an outstanding four-star complex.
