The breakfast service, while basic, receives positive remarks for its taste and variety, with highlights including scrambled eggs and chipotle sausages. Although some guests suggest additional variety and extended hours would be beneficial, the practicality of having breakfast included is appreciated. Rooms are generally well-equipped and comfortable, with spacious layouts and particularly cozy beds adding to the restful experience. However, some concerns about maintenance, ventilation, and noise disturbances have been noted.
Cleanliness generally receives commendations, despite some inconsistency in daily cleaning routines. The hotel's WiFi is a significant concern, with frequent connectivity issues affecting the guest experience, especially for business travelers. While feedback on the beds is mixed, many guests find them comfortable, with mentions of occasional inconsistencies in quality.
In summary, City Express by Marriott Xalapa provides a generally positive experience due to its prime location, dedicated staff, and value-added amenities. Addressing noted concerns, particularly with WiFi and maintenance, could further elevate the guest experience.
