Residenza Antica Canonica is a remarkable accommodation located in the heart of Città di Castello's historic center, providing an excellent base for exploring the town's rich cultural heritage. Guests appreciate the superb location, which offers both convenient access to major attractions such as the Duomo and a tranquil atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The historic building, beautifully renovated, enhances the experience by blending ancient charm with modern comforts, and reserved parking adds to its convenience.
The accommodations, often exceeding expectations, are described as spacious mini-apartments rather than typical hotel rooms. They are well-equipped with kitchenettes and private bathrooms, providing a clean, comfortable, and atmospheric stay. The impeccable cleanliness is frequently noted, with both the rooms and apartments maintained in pristine condition. Visitors commend the warm and professional hospitality of the staff, with special mentions for Elisa and Elena, who create a welcoming and friendly environment that makes guests feel at home.
The beds are generally praised for their comfort, contributing to a restful sleep, although a few guests noted minor issues with bed dimensions and the sofa bed's mattress. Nevertheless, the quality-price ratio is excellent, offering great value for money. The accommodation not only provides a memorable retreat for those seeking a blend of history and modernity but also ensures guests feel welcomed and well-cared for, encouraging many to express their intent to return.

Residenza D'epoca Il Biribino is a charming medieval retreat that impresses with its strategic location, nestled conveniently close to the vibrant center of Città di Castello. This picturesque setting offers tranquility and accessibility, providing guests with a restful experience complemented by courteous and welcoming staff. The property's internal parking and proximity to local attractions further enhance its appeal.
The breakfast experience at Il Biribino is mostly praised, featuring a mix of sweet and savory items including pastries and superb local jams. Guests enjoy a spacious and relaxing dining environment, although some suggest improvements in service organization. Nonetheless, the breakfast remains a delightful start to the day for many visitors.
Accommodations maintain a balance of historical charm and comfort, with rooms described as cozy, spacious, and uniquely characterful. Guests appreciate the affordability and the welcoming atmosphere driven by kind staff. Despite occasional issues with room features such as privacy and ventilation, the overall ambiance and distinctiveness of the rooms contribute to a satisfying stay.
The residence upholds generally high cleanliness standards, recognized for well-maintained indoor and outdoor spaces. While certain areas, like ventilation and bathrooms, could benefit from more consistent cleanliness, many guests find the environment pleasant and hygienic.
Il Biribino's staff is highly commended for their exceptional service, with many guests highlighting their kindness, helpfulness, and personalized attention that contribute to a genuinely inviting atmosphere. Instances of staff going above and beyond, such as offering transportation when needed, enhance the overall hospitality.
The pool area provides an excellent retreat with two pools and a hydromassage tub, appealing to families, especially those with young children. Though some maintenance improvements are suggested, the pool's inviting atmosphere and the quality of common areas make it a standout feature of the hotel.
Overall, Residenza D'epoca Il Biribino combines history, hospitality, and a prime location to offer a restful and enriching experience for travelers.
