The hotel is an ideal starting point to explore the city with famous museums, monuments and bars just a stone's throw away. The hotel also offers quick and easy access to the airport and ferry terminals. The hotel is conveniently located next to public parking, allowing guests to easily park their car and explore on foot. Overall, Kastro Hotel is a gem in the heart of Heraklion center with a perfect location for discovering the city in all directions.

The staff is extremely helpful and the location is central with good viewing options to the sea and mountains. However, some rooms do not have a good view and there are glass toilet doors without sound insulation. Nevertheless, Kastro Hotel is an amazing location to stay and guests would stay again for sure.
