Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
City Express Plus by Marriott Ciudad de México Mundo E is highly regarded for its exceptional location within the Mundo E Shopping Center, providing guests with easy access to a plethora of dining and shopping options. Business travelers particularly appreciate the central positioning for seamless entry and exit and the strategic proximity to events and transportation hubs. Safety and tranquility of the surrounding area add to the positive atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for short trips, business travel and leisurely stays.
The hotel is often commended for its overall cleanliness, maintaining high standards in rooms and public areas. Despite some isolated lapses, the general consensus indicates a well-maintained environment that aligns with the hotel's reputation for good sanitization measures. The modern style and well-soundproofed rooms contribute to a quiet and comfortable stay with excellent air conditioning frequently noted. However, room size and amenities such as missing room service, occasional lack of towels and absence of lockers or a refrigerator are areas noted for improvement.
Breakfast at the hotel garners mixed reviews; while many guests appreciate that it is included in the accommodation cost and find it delicious and enjoyable, the limited variety and short serving hours until 9 am are common criticisms. Some guests also mention the removal of hot items from the menu and issues like bad coffee and inadequately replenished items. Despite this, it remains a cost-effective option for morning meals.
The staff at City Express Plus by Marriott Ciudad de México Mundo E receive high praise for their friendliness and attentiveness, significantly enhancing the guest experience. The receptionists and dining room staff are often highlighted for their courteous and helpful nature, contributing to a warm and efficient atmosphere. Although there are occasional criticisms regarding slow or unhelpful interactions at the reception, the overall standard of hospitality is highly regarded.
Guests report varied experiences with the hotel’s wifi, noting issues such as intermittent connectivity and poor signal strength. This is a frequent point of contention, although some guests have praised the internet as excellent. Parking at the hotel is available but has elicited mixed feedback due to its confusing layout and additional cost, though it provides a sense of security once accessed.
The comfort of the beds and pillows receives a mix of opinions; many guests find the beds very comfortable, but recurring mentions of old, worn-out mattresses and uncomfortable pillows suggest an area for improvement. Lastly, the hotel is seen as a practical choice for business travelers with efficient entry and exit processes, business-oriented facilities and overall good value for money.
In conclusion, City Express Plus by Marriott Ciudad de México Mundo E is appreciated for its unbeatable location, cleanliness and friendly staff, making it a suitable choice for both business and leisure stays. However, enhancements in room amenities, breakfast variety, wifi reliability and bed comfort could significantly elevate the overall guest experience.
