H2hotel offers a mixed parking experience for guests with some finding street parking easily accessible and others disappointed to find that the advertised free parking was actually valet parking for a fee. However, those who did opt for valet parking were generally satisfied with the service, which included complimentary charging for electric cars and the use of refillable water bottles. The valet attendants were efficient and accommodating, although some guests encountered delays with check-in and check-out due to the valet parking system. Despite these issues, the hotel was noted to be pet-friendly and charges were settled at checkout.

Calistoga Motor Lodge and Spa is a great place for families looking for a cute lodging experience. The hotel is very family-oriented and has plenty of activities for kids. The pools and fire pit were a big hit with the little ones and there is a big field for them to play in. While some guests mentioned that there were too many kids, the hotel is mostly child-friendly. However, some guests found it tough to stay for more than a couple of nights. The hotel offers a family spa experience and even hosted a mothers and daughters weekend. Despite some negative experiences with screaming kids during adult swim times, guests found the hotel to be a fun and great place for families to stay. The property is also conveniently located near restaurants, hiking trails and wineries. The free bikes are a nice touch, though they are only available for adults. All in all, Calistoga Motor Lodge and Spa is a good choice for a family getaway.
