The ease of parking, spacious rooms and nearby attractions like Michie Stadium and LegoLand further enhance its appeal, making it an ideal base for those looking to explore the area.
The breakfast offerings have led to mixed reviews with some guests being disappointed by the lack of substantial breakfast options, limited to just coffee, tea and juice. However, the hotel partially mitigates this shortcoming by providing referrals and discounts to nearby diners with excellent breakfast menus.
Rooms are generally considered spacious, decently clean and come equipped with useful amenities like microwaves and mini-fridges. The comfortable beds and attentive front desk service are often highlighted positively. That said, there are calls for modernization and improved housekeeping standards with some guests mentioning outdated furniture and occasional cleanliness issues.
Cleanliness remains a point of contention with experiences varying widely among guests. While some found the rooms and common areas satisfactory, others encountered dirty rooms, unclean bathrooms and stained linens, pointing to the need for a significant improvement in cleaning standards.
The staff receives frequent praise for their friendliness, attentiveness and professionalism, contributing positively to the overall guest experience. Although there are sporadic complaints about careless or unfriendly attitudes from some staff members, the general feedback is that the staff provides excellent service.
Wi-Fi quality is consistently criticized with numerous guests reporting weak and unreliable internet connections, which might be a concern for those who need stable access during their stay.
Parking options are praised for their convenience with guests able to park directly in front of their rooms, making it easy to unload luggage and access their vehicles quickly.
Overall, while some aspects such as breakfast options, cleanliness levels and Wi-Fi connectivity require improvement, the hotel is valued for its excellent location, friendly staff and comfortable beds, offering good value for money for short stays, especially for those visiting the nearby outlet mall.
