La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Calhoun South I-75 is praised for its excellent location, offering convenient access to Interstate 75, making it ideal for travelers seeking easy on-and-off highway access. Its proximity to various dining options, including a nearby Cracker Barrel, adds to the convenience, reducing the need to travel far for meals. The quiet surroundings contribute to a peaceful stay, despite its location near the interstate.
Guests frequently commend the staff for their friendliness and professionalism, noting their dedication to meeting guests' needs and creating an inviting atmosphere. Positive reviews often highlight a front desk attendant known for providing exceptional customer service, enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
While the complimentary breakfast receives mixed reviews, many guests appreciate the availability of American standard items like scrambled eggs and waffles. These offerings, along with decent rates, add to the appeal of this cost-effective lodging option. The rooms are generally comfortable, with spacious king beds and updated amenities. Some guests highlight the cleanliness, although there are mentions of maintenance issues and housekeeping inconsistencies that could benefit from improvement.
Cleanliness remains a challenge, with reports of dirty carpets, cobwebs, and maintenance problems such as non-working light bulbs and plumbing issues indicating further attention is needed. In summary, La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Calhoun South I-75 provides a reliable and practical choice for budget-conscious travelers looking for a straightforward stay.
