Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Tiki Resort - Lake George provides a largely positive experience for its guests, marked by its prime location, welcoming staff and enjoyable amenities. The resort's setting in the heart of Lake George makes it ideal for visitors looking to explore the area's many attractions, such as downtown shops, restaurants, Million Dollar Beach and local events like the Americade rally. Guests particularly appreciate the convenience of the resort's proximity to the trolley station and the tranquil atmosphere despite its central location.
The breakfast at Tiki Resort is generally well-regarded for its quality and friendly service with many guests finding the menu tasty and worth the price. Although there are occasional mentions of limited options and closure on certain days, the overall dining experience remains a positive aspect of the resort. Similarly, the dinner experience, especially the popular Polynesian dinner show, is praised for its entertainment value, despite mixed reviews on the food quality and pricing.
Rooms at Tiki Resort receive commendations for being spacious, clean and comfortable with renovated bathrooms adding to the positive feedback. However, some reviews highlight issues such as musty smells, dirty floors and outdated decor, pointing to the need for more thorough cleaning and updates. The cleanliness of the indoor pool and the attentive staff, especially in the restaurant and bar, contribute positively to guests' stays. Yet, there are mentions of inconsistent service and occasional unprofessional behavior, primarily at the front desk.
The resort's pool facilities garner favorable reviews with both the indoor and outdoor pools being appreciated for their cleanliness and family-friendly atmosphere. Picnic tables and BBQ amenities further enhance the experience for families, making it a suitable choice for those traveling with children.
While the resort offers comfortable beds that are often described as clean and soft, some guests have found them hard and uncomfortable. Additionally, the wifi service is an area in need of improvement, frequently being reported as slow or unreliable.
In summary, Tiki Resort - Lake George is a well-located, family-friendly resort with numerous amenities and generally positive feedback from guests, despite some areas requiring attention to ensure an even more satisfying stay.
