Guests appreciate the safe surroundings and the scenic views, further complemented by the hotel’s pleasant and helpful staff.
The rooms at this property receive high marks for cleanliness and comfort. Many visitors highlight the spaciousness and coziness of the Executive King Suite, while the comfy beds and well-stocked amenities contribute to a pleasant stay. Despite occasional remarks on dated furnishings and the need for more in-room amenities like microwaves, the overall atmosphere is conducive to work and relaxation. Beautiful views of the city from room windows and stylish furnishings enhance this positive experience.
Staff friendliness and helpfulness are recurring themes in guest reviews, contributing significantly to the property's reputation. Many guests found the staff to be accommodating, professional and courteous, enhancing the sense of security and comfort during their stay—despite some isolated mentions of disorganization and occasional rudeness.
Cleanliness is another strong point with many reviews commending the hotel’s tidy and well-maintained environment. While some issues like rust in bathrooms and occasional moisture smells were noted, these did not detract from the overall positive impressions of the hotel's cleanliness and the staff’s efforts in maintaining it.
The indoor pool is a notable feature, appreciated for its heated comfort and pleasant views, making it especially enjoyable for families. Although some concerns were raised about cleanliness with mentions of cloudy water and a dead animal on the skylight, it remains a popular amenity alongside the fitness center.
Parking is a mixed experience; while some guests find it expensive and inconvenient, others appreciate the exceptional valet service. The cost of parking ranges from $24 for self-parking to $40 for valet with some guests needing to park in a deck across the street.
Breakfast services received mixed reviews with some guests enjoying the meals while others faced issues with availability and inconsistency. The lack of complimentary breakfast and instances where no breakfast service was available were common points of dissatisfaction. Nonetheless, the hotel sometimes offers compensations like free drinks to address these shortcomings.
Overall, Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Buckhead stands out for its exceptional location, clean and comfortable rooms, warm hospitality and helpful amenities, ensuring guests have a memorable and comfortable visit.
