Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Golf Hotel Colvert, renowned for its tranquil and picturesque location, excels as an ideal retreat for guests seeking peace and relaxation. Positioned edge-on to a golf course, it offers a serene setting perfect for golf enthusiasts and those desiring an escape from daily life. The beautiful natural surroundings, child-friendly environment and proximity to other attractions enhance its appeal. Even with some mixed feedback regarding breakfast and the absence of an on-site restaurant, the staff's helpful recommendations provide noteworthy dining experiences nearby, such as the regional Boef Bourguignon.
Rooms at the hotel are spacious, recently renovated and provide modern amenities. Guests appreciate the quality bedding and the scenic views from balconies overlooking a creek, golf course or river. The cleanliness of the rooms, though generally praised, shows variability with some reporting significant issues in bathrooms and general maintenance, indicating needed improvements to meet consistent guest expectations.
The exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff, notably individuals like Sonia at reception, are highly praised, contributing significantly to the positive guest experience. Efficient handling of reservations and genuine hospitality enhance the stay, even in challenging situations like fully booked nearby restaurants. Parking options include limited free spots and a secure underground facility, though the latter comes with an additional charge, appreciated for its added security.
Overall, Golf Hotel Colvert provides a restful stay in a serene environment with commendable staff service and comfortable beds, making it a compelling choice for both relaxation and golf.
