River Rock Estate is a beautiful resort located in a stunning countryside setting with easy access to Cromwell and central Otago. Despite some traffic noise from the highway, guests have praised the location for its peaceful vineyard surroundings. The continental breakfast is excellent with a wide range of teas and coffee and guests appreciate the attentiveness of the hosts and the plentiful breakfast spread. The rooms are outstanding with lovely furnishings and private hot tubs in separate chalets. The hosts, Graeme and Jan-Marie McDowell, are exceptional and provide great service, going above and beyond to make guests feel at home. Overall, River Rock Estate is the perfect place to stay for a warm welcome in a beautiful setting.
