However, others have enjoyed the fantastic views and the nicely maintained pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The pool area can get crowded and busy, but it's great to be able to use the facilities. Guests have mentioned that there were no paper cups available next to the pool and some have been disappointed that the swimming pool fountains and one of the two steam rooms were not working properly. Summary of reviews related to the 'Pool' category
Summarized by AI
The pool at Esplanade Hotel seems to have mixed reviews from guests. Some love it, calling it great, amazing and a highlight of their stay. Others find it too cold or dirty with murky water or green jacuzzi water. Some mention that it can get very busy, especially during half term when families are there. A few also note that the pool is monitored by staff, which is a plus for safety. For those who are looking for a relaxing and quiet swim, some reviews caution that children can be loud and play in the pool and hot tub, making it difficult to unwind. There are also mixed opinions on the pool facilities with some mentioning ropes and fountains that weren't working and others simply enjoying the pool tables and other options for kids. Despite the mixed reviews, guests seem to appreciate the hotel's efforts to accommodate them when the pool wasn't available during their stay, as well as the other family-friendly amenities like the soft play and cinema.
