The Lively Hotel Kualanamu receives predominantly positive reviews from travelers, particularly highlighting its advantageous location and outstanding staff service. Situated conveniently close to Kualanamu Airport, this hotel emerges as an optimal choice for guests seeking hassle-free transit options, with the added benefit of a paid shuttle service for seamless airport transfers. The surrounding neighborhood offers a vibrant atmosphere with cafes, restaurants, and a grocery store within walking distance, thus catering to guests' immediate needs before or after flights.
While the breakfast offering is minimalistic, featuring unlimited toast coupled with matcha spread or chocolate sprinkles and accompanied by coffee or tea, guests appreciate its early availability to start their day. The simplicity of the breakfast service generally satisfies basic morning dietary needs.
Rooms at The Lively Hotel Kualanamu are noted for being compact but clean, fitting the needs of solo travelers or those looking for a convenient stopover. Although small in size, the rooms are efficiently designed and equipped with essential amenities. However, potential guests should be aware of limited space and possible noise issues. Cleanliness is an area identified for improvement, with occasional reports of musty smells and worn furnishings, yet certain rooms have been praised for their tidiness.
The hotel staff earns considerable praise for their excellent service, friendliness, and willingness to assist guests with various requests, including arranging transportation and handling room concerns. Their proficiency in English enhances the overall guest experience, with individuals like Mas Taufiq and Mr. Ronald being recognized for their kindness and helpfulness. The optional shuttle service, despite the extra cost, is seen as a well-coordinated addition to the hotel's offerings, contributing positively to guests' stays.
Overall, The Lively Hotel Kualanamu primarily delivers a satisfactory stay through its strategic location and exceptional staff service, despite some minor drawbacks related to room size and cleanliness.
