The Résidence Villa Bellagio Amboise by Popinns features a swimming pool that's often a highlight for guests staying at the property. The pool is noted for being spacious and very pleasant, providing a refreshing escape during the summer heat. Guests particularly appreciate its cleanliness and the lovely environment surrounding it, which adds to the overall tranquility of the stay.
For families, the pool, along with amenities like inflatable toys and a kids' pool, becomes a delightful feature, especially for cooling off children. The presence of other on-site conveniences like a pizza truck also contributes positively to the stay.
However, some guests mention the pool's limitations. It is often described as small relative to the number of accommodations, resulting in it being quite busy. The pool water is not heated, which can make it quite chilly and it closes early at 6 PM, leaving some guests wishing for extended hours of enjoyment. The pool's distance from some accommodations and the lack of accompanying facilities like showers and proper shade are other points of critique.
Despite these drawbacks, the pool at Résidence Villa Bellagio Amboise by Popinns generally provides a satisfying and refreshing experience, particularly appreciated after a day of biking or touring the nearby Loire Valley castles.
