SALA Lakeside Aparthotel offers guests a delightful retreat in a picturesque setting. Nestled in the tranquil countryside beside the stunning Lough Gill, the location provides breathtaking views and serene surroundings perfect for exploring the scenic beauty of Sligo, Donegal, and Leitrim. Despite its somewhat remote location, it is conveniently close to Sligo town, making it an ideal base for touring the area. The aparthotel offers spacious and comfortable apartments, equipped with essential amenities that cater well to families and groups. Guests frequently praise the cleanliness and functionality of the accommodations, noting them as exceptional value for both short and extended stays.
The staff at SALA Lakeside Aparthotel are consistently commended for their warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Their proactive and personable approach enhances the guest experience, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. While the breakfast offerings are more simplistic, focusing on homemade pastries and fresh fruit, the property's beautiful views and location compensate for the limited selection.
The aparthotel's cleanliness and upkeep are highly regarded, with spotlessly clean rooms and well-maintained public areas. Though some minor aesthetic improvements to the exterior could be beneficial, guests are generally satisfied with the pristine conditions inside. Additionally, the aparthotel boasts reliable WiFi and convenient parking facilities, although there are occasional mentions of connectivity issues and slight parking inconveniences.
The beds receive mixed reviews, with a general consensus that comfort could be improved, yet those who enjoyed the beds often found them to significantly contribute to a restful stay. Despite not offering the luxury some guests expect, SALA Lakeside Aparthotel is celebrated for its comfort, serene surroundings, and excellent value for money, making it a recommended choice for those seeking good quality lodging in a scenic location.
