Summary of reviews related to the '3 Star' category
Summarized by AI
Puerto Tigre has some potential, but it often falls short of expectations, especially considering its cost. The reception staff receive praise for their pleasant service, which is one of the highlights. However, the overall price-service ratio leaves much to be desired. The facilities seem neglected with issues like humidity, paint decay and insufficient amenities such as only providing soap. Some apartments lack basic items like a dishcloth and broom in the kitchen and specific problems like no window ventilation in rooms for four people.
Guests also noted a need for maintenance, pointing out missing items like a soap dish. Additionally, the accommodation did not quite match the appearance in the photos, leading to some disappointment. A particular grievance was the limited bathrooms for larger groups with some apartments providing just one bathroom for seven people.
The lack of expected amenities, for instance, hairdryers, further added to the less-than-ideal experience. Overall, while Puerto Tigre has a good staff, the hotel would benefit from essential improvements to meet the needs and expectations of its guests.
