Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park enjoys strong positive feedback across several categories from guests. The hotel's location is praised for its convenient proximity to New York City, family events and being right off the highway, making it practical for travelers, despite some challenges with highway accessibility and noise. The breakfast receives high marks for its variety, convenience and deliciousness, highlighted by guests' satisfaction with the make-your-own waffle station and the cleanliness of the breakfast area.
Rooms at the Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park are frequently lauded for their spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort with comfortable beds being a consistently praised feature. The amenities, namely the fridge and good room layout, enhance the overall stay, although sporadic issues like occasional non-cleaned rooms and minor maintenance problems were noted.
The hotel maintains a positive reputation for cleanliness with updated, well-maintained facilities and tidy public areas, assisted by friendly and helpful staff. The staff, including standout employees like Arora, Raquel and Lesly, are celebrated for their friendliness, accommodation and excellent customer service, significantly enriching guests' experiences.
However, the pool area encountered mixed reviews. Though some appreciated the indoor pool and its convenience for families, many guests faced issues with cleanliness, water temperature and maintenance with frequent complaints about cloudy water, excessive or insufficient chlorine and lack of towels.
Parking feedback is equally divided; some guests appreciated the ample and free parking, while others found the highway-adjacent entrance challenging and the parking spaces small, posing a convenience issue for those needing handicapped spaces.
Overall, while minor negatives exist, the dependable comforts of the rooms, the quality breakfast, the amiable staff and the general cleanliness make Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park a commendable choice for travelers seeking a reliable and pleasant stay.
