Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Days Inn by Wyndham Easton presents itself as a convenient and strategically located hotel, making it easy for guests to access local attractions, shops and restaurants. Its placement just off the highway is a notable advantage for travelers, facilitating easy travel and offering proximity to friendly and affordable dining options. Guests traveling with pets appreciated the yard space available. The staff at the hotel is frequently highlighted as a major positive, often described as friendly, accommodating and efficient with particular praise for individuals like Ms. Valerie and a welcoming younger front desk attendee. These factors contribute significantly to the overall pleasantness of the stay.
However, the breakfast offerings have received mixed feedback with several guests appreciating the basic continental options such as waffles, while others wished for a broader selection that includes fruit, yogurt and proteins. The room conditions elicited the most varied responses. Some found the accommodations to be clean and comfortable, suitable for brief stays, while numerous reviews pointed to issues such as dust, mold, bugs and broken amenities. Cleanliness was a common concern with many guests citing dirty bathrooms, stained linens and unpleasant odors. The overall appearance of the property was often described as run down and in need of significant updates.
Despite the hotel's shortcomings in cleanliness and maintenance, the beds generally received positive feedback for their comfort, though there were some complaints about old mattresses and sheets. The free WiFi was another area needing improvement with many guests reporting weak and slow connections that hampered their ability to use the service effectively.
In essence, while Days Inn by Wyndham Easton is suitable for those looking for a basic, pet-friendly accommodation with a convenient location and excellent staff, guests should temper their expectations regarding the property's condition and amenities. The hotel delivers on essential needs but falls short of a polished and well-maintained experience, leaning more towards a 2-star level of offering rather than the expected 3-star.
