Hotel Stadt Hameln receives mixed reviews regarding its four-star rating and amenities. Guests appreciated the facilities, especially noting that it is comfortable for families. The hotel offers a satisfactory breakfast, which aligns with expectations for a four-star establishment. However, many reviews point out that the rooms fall short of the four-star standard. Complaints include the lack of individual shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and specific room issues such as broken nightstands and scratched doors. Furthermore, the overall upkeep of the hotel is inconsistent and some furnishings are deemed unworthy of a four-star rating. The price is considered somewhat high given these shortcomings. Additionally, dinner service did not meet the anticipated four-star quality. The hotel’s condition and services collectively seem reduced to a three-star level at most, causing some guests to express disappointment with their stay.

Visitors of the PARKHOTEL Hameln generally identified it as a solid four-star establishment with corresponding amenities and quality. Guests appreciated the modern furnishings and overall comfort, particularly highlighting the excellent price/performance ratio. The hotel fulfilled four-star standards with amenities and services that matched those expectations, including a great and extensive breakfast buffet which many guests found delightful. During the COVID period, the hotel still managed to maintain an elevated standard by providing access to its restaurant and bar.
Several reviews also acknowledged the hotel's suitability for city trips and short stays, affirming positive recommendations based on their good tourist experience. Some even noted that the service paralleled that of a five-star hotel.
However, there were reservations about certain aspects not aligning with a four-star classification. Some guests felt that the facilities, such as the lack of refrigeration and air conditioning in rooms, detracted from the overall experience. There were mentions of outdated keycards and limited services on Saturday nights, which were unexpected for a four-star hotel. A few travelers described the experience as more on par with a three-star hotel.
Despite these critiques, the overarching sentiment is that PARKHOTEL Hameln largely delivers on its promise as a reputable four-star hotel with commendable service, making it an excellent choice for travelers seeking modern, comfortable and reasonably priced accommodations.
