The rooms are large, clean and exquisitely decorated - we had an outstanding night's sleep in a truly luxurious bed. And the luxury doesn't end there: some rooms even have huge roll top baths for an extra indulgent touch. The location is lovely and peaceful, just off the main shopping center, but still easily accessible. This historic property is a delight to stay in with the perfect mix of old-world charm and modern amenities. There are a few outliers who feel the rooms are overpriced, but we think the superb hotel experience is well worth it. In short, Southernhay House Hotel is an absolutely stunning option for those seeking pure luxury in the heart of Exeter.
