Miramar Hotel Spa & Apartments offers a mixed experience when it comes to their pool facilities. The hotel boasts both an outdoor pool with stunning sea views and an indoor pool often complimented for its nice ambiance. The outdoor pool is regarded as large, beautiful and heated to an ideal temperature, making it a delightful feature for guests, especially when coupled with the scenic outdoor terrace. However, accessibility and cleanliness issues are prevalent. Guests often find the outdoor pool's cleanliness in need of improvement and have also mentioned damage and wear in the pool area, including broken pool tiles and old parasols.
The indoor pool, on the other hand, has garnered less favorable reviews. It seems to struggle with maintenance issues, having been described as dirty with cigarette butts and cloudy water. Additionally, the indoor pool areas are often marred with mold smells and water leaks. Access is restricted for children under 12, even when accompanied by adults, which families found inconvenient.
A notable downside is the additional costs associated with pool access. Guests are charged extra fees for using both the indoor and outdoor pools and the added expense and the need to provide identification forms reduces the overall enjoyment. Despite the nice overall pool area and the occasional praise for the poolside service, these pesky fees and strict reservation requirements can be a turnoff for many.
In summary, while the Miramar Hotel Spa & Apartments' pools have significant potential with their attractive settings and ideal temperatures, a consistent emphasis on cleanliness and better maintenance, along with a reconsideration of the extra costs, could greatly enhance the guest experience.
