WAGNERS Hotel Schönblick, part of C&C Hotels und Vertrieb GmbH, is widely praised for its picturesque location in the tranquil Fichtel Mountains. Nestled near Ochsenkopf and Fichtelsee, the hotel is an ideal base for hiking and other outdoor activities, providing a serene retreat without being too far from essential amenities. Visitors appreciate the peaceful environment, the scenic views and the abundance of parking options.
The breakfast service at WAGNERS Hotel Schönblick is frequently highlighted for its abundance and variety. Many guests find the buffet to be plentiful and well-maintained, although there are occasional remarks about minor drawbacks such as cold eggs or missing fresh fruit. Overall, the breakfast is perceived as offering good value and a solid start to the day.
When it comes to dinner, the reviews are mixed. While some guests appreciate the variety of dishes and the salad buffet, others find the €25 price to be excessive for the quality, likening it to cafeteria fare. Many opt to explore local dining options for more authentic and affordable Franconian cuisine.
Room accommodations are generally praised for their spaciousness, brightness and cleanliness. Newly renovated rooms and modern furnishings receive positive mentions, although some guests note outdated furniture and noise issues. The cleanliness of the rooms is commendable, but certain areas of the hotel, such as the corridors and bathrooms, could use improvement.
