There are many hiking possibilities in the area and you can even go on hikes straight from the hotel. If skiing is your thing, you'll be happy to know that there's a Super Skigebiet nearby (Amade with 700 pistenkilometer) and you can easily reach the lifts or the tracks with the ski or hike bus. The location is also great for trips in the surroundings, although there aren't any suitable inns or restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Nevertheless, guests have praised the peacefulness and beauty of the area, making Das Geierberg a nice, quiet family B&B. Moreover, the hotel boasts a lovely pool which can be very refreshing during hot summer days. All in all, the location of Das Geierberg is definitely one of its strongest assets!
