Location
Pousada Moda New boasts a strategic and convenient location, making it an ideal choice for a variety of travelers. Situated near Maraponga Market and the Mart Modas shopping center, it offers excellent accessibility for those interested in shopping. The inn's proximity to the airport is particularly beneficial for business travelers, who will find it provides suitable accommodations with reasonable comfort. While the location is not in the city center or near the beaches, it remains well-connected and easy to find. Guests frequently commend the inn for its excellent cost-effectiveness, along with its location being perfect for specific events and destinations within the city. Despite some remarks about its somewhat deserted surroundings, the inn stands out for its pleasant ambiance and cleanliness, coupled with a very good breakfast and comfortable rooms, making it a worthy option for value-conscious travelers.
Breakfast
Pousada Moda New receives mixed reviews regarding its breakfast offerings. Some guests commend the establishment for its excellent quality and delicious cakes, noting that the breakfast, while simple, meets basic needs well. However, a significant number of reviews point out shortcomings, with guests finding the breakfast weak, lacking in variety, and sometimes insufficient in quantity for all guests. Replenishment of items is noted to be an issue, with complaints about missing staples like coffee and cold cuts. The limited choices, often consisting only of basic items such as bread, cheese, ham, and a few cakes, have left some guests desiring more. Furthermore, concerns about cleanliness, like flies buzzing around, detract from the overall experience. The location is praised, but the breakfast service appears in need of enhancement to match guest expectations fully.
Rooms
Pousada Moda New offers rooms equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a cool and comfortable environment despite the hotel's limitations. Cleanliness is well-maintained, providing a refreshing space for guests. The rooms come with basic amenities, although some might find them cramped and lacking in comfort. Notably, the bathrooms do not have dividers, which may require some adjustment for those who prefer privacy. Additionally, there are no windows in the rooms or bathrooms, which could be a drawback for guests seeking natural light. While the air conditioning is highlighted as a positive feature, attention to maintenance details, such as functional outlets and bathroom enclosures, may improve the overall guest experience. The facility could benefit from addressing issues related to pests and structural integrity to ensure a more enjoyable stay for future visitors.
Beds
Pousada Moda New offers a mixed experience when it comes to its beds, leaving travelers with varied impressions. On a positive note, some guests have appreciated the comfort of the mattresses, describing them as comfortable. However, numerous reviews indicate significant room for improvement. Guests have encountered issues such as hard and uncomfortable beds, with some reviewers comparing their experience to sleeping on the floor due to the firmness. Certain beds appeared old, with noticeable structural problems like sinking and holes. Additionally, bedding has been highlighted as inadequate, with worn-out and stained sheets failing to meet expectations. Alongside concerns about the beds, the overall accommodation experience also faced criticism, with reports of dirty showers lacking hot water and issues like windowless rooms, reception tallying sheets and towels, and a lack of parking facilities. This suggests that while some visitors may find comfort at Pousada Moda New, others might find it necessary to manage their expectations regarding the bedding quality and related aspects of their stay.
Cleanliness
Guest reviews of Pousada Moda New present a mixed picture of its cleanliness standards. Positive remarks highlight the clean rooms and facilities, with specific mentions of the sheets and general space being very clean. Some guests noted the adequacy of the room’s air conditioning and TV functionality in tandem with cleanliness. However, there are significant concerns outlined by numerous guests, ranging from dirty bathrooms and rooms full of mold to poor hygiene and insufficient cleaning frequency. The reports of mold are particularly concerning, with some guests finding the environment difficult or unsuitable for breathing. Issues extend to non-functional amenities and room conditions, including broken doors and furniture, as well as noise disturbances. These reviews indicate a need for improvement in cleanliness and maintenance at the property.
Staff
Pousada Moda New receives commendable feedback for its staff, who are frequently noted for their attentiveness and courtesy. Many guests highlight the exceptional level of service, with particular praise for the receptionists who consistently provide helpful support throughout one's stay. A warm and friendly atmosphere is created by the team, leaving a positive impression on travelers. The staff's polite and approachable nature contributes to a well-rated experience, complemented by good cleaning services and a delightful breakfast. Despite some instances of unresponsiveness and lack of assistance, the overall guest experience is marked by staff who are eager to ensure a comfortable and welcoming visit.
Wi-Fi
At Pousada Moda New, the Wi-Fi performance has received mixed reviews from guests. While some visitors have experienced reliable and well-functioning internet connectivity, others have encountered difficulties, particularly with access inside their rooms. There have been instances where the Wi-Fi is only operational in outdoor areas, which may be inconvenient for those needing consistent internet access. Despite occasional interruptions, there are reports of satisfactory internet service that suggest variable connectivity conditions depending on the location within the hotel.
