Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
B&B HOTEL Herblay is strategically located for travelers looking for convenient access to the A15 motorway and various commercial areas. The hotel's proximity to shops and restaurants adds to its practicality for short stays. Despite occasional traffic noise and a somewhat challenging access route, the location provides easy access to essential amenities and key highways.
Guests commend the breakfast offerings for their reasonable price and variety, including fresh pastries, coffee and fruit yogurts. The friendly and efficient staff enhance the experience, contributing to a pleasant start to the day. Minor issues like minimal pastry options and lukewarm coffee do not significantly detract from the generally positive feedback about the breakfast.
The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable with many guests appreciating the cleanliness and comfort of the beds. However, there are mixed reviews regarding maintenance and cleanliness with some guests reporting issues like broken fixtures, thin walls and inconsistent housekeeping standards. Despite these drawbacks, the rooms typically offer a satisfactory experience for a restful stay.
Cleanliness within the hotel is generally praised with many guests highlighting the spotless rooms and well-maintained breakfast area. However, the exterior and surrounding areas are noted to be less well-kept with reports of garbage and unsanitary conditions detracting from the overall impression.
The hotel staff receive high praise for their friendliness and professionalism, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The night guard is particularly noted for their helpfulness, although some guests experienced early morning disturbances from cleaning staff, indicating room for improvement in maintaining guest privacy.
Parking at the hotel is convenient and free with easy access throughout the night. Some guests, however, mention that the parking area could benefit from better maintenance and clearer signage for security purposes.
Family travelers find the hotel accommodating with family room setups that include a double bed for parents and single beds for children. While the rooms are practical, they can be narrow for a family of four and some improvements like better soundproofing and additional provisions for towels and pillows are suggested.
Overall, B&B HOTEL Herblay offers a comfortable and convenient stay with exemplary staff service and a satisfying breakfast, making it a practical choice for travelers despite some inconsistencies in room maintenance and exterior cleanliness.
