Finca Hotel Tierra Verde is strategically located just steps away from Medellín, offering an ideal blend of tranquility and convenience. The serene landscape and beautiful views, including magnificent nighttime panoramas of the city, create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The breakfast provided is generally delicious and personalized, often delivered directly to the room. Guests appreciate the tasty and straightforward meals, though some have suggested offering a wider variety of options to enhance the experience.
Rooms at the hotel are frequently praised for their spaciousness, comfort and beautiful views. Features like hot tubs and whirlpool tubs add to the charm, creating a cozy sanctuary for guests. However, some issues have been noted, including the lack of essential amenities, occasional cleanliness problems and discrepancies between promotional materials and the actual rooms.
Cleanliness is a mixed aspect at the hotel. Many guests praise the overall tidiness, describing the facilities as clean and organized. Yet, there are concerns regarding the thoroughness of maintenance, particularly in bathrooms and the pool area, where mold and unclear water have been reported.
The hotel staff receive exceptional praise for their friendliness and attentiveness. Receptionists, especially Ms. Bibiana and the cleaning staff are noted for their warm and professional service, contributing significantly to the welcoming atmosphere. Some areas for improvement include noise control during events and better transport arrangements for guests without personal vehicles.
The pool is another standout feature, admired for its beauty and comfort. It provides a refreshing and enjoyable spot to unwind, available for use all the time. Nonetheless, guests have suggested enhancing maintenance and comfort with more sun loungers and better water clarity.
Lastly, the beds offer a varied experience. Many guests find them very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, but there are mentions of issues such as noisy bed frames, inconsistent mattress quality and occasional cleanliness concerns with bed linens.
Overall, Finca Hotel Tierra Verde offers a serene, comfortable and enjoyable retreat with its friendly staff and convenient location, though there are a few areas that could benefit from improvement to ensure a consistently pleasant guest experience.
