The pool at the Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park garnered mix reviews from its guests. Several visitors mentioned that they and their children enjoyed using the facility, appreciating its convenience as an indoor pool. Positive remarks also highlighted friendly staff and described the pool as nice and great.
However, numerous reviews flagged issues with cleanliness and maintenance. Guests frequently pointed out that the pool and surrounding area were dirty with some mentioning cloudy or even filthy water. A recurring complaint was the water's temperature; many found the pool too cold, at times describing it as freezing or like a frozen lake. The level of chlorine in the water seemed to be another problem with comments noting either an excessive amount or the need for more to keep the water fresh.
Other concerns included a lack of towels in the pool area and instances when the pool was closed or undergoing maintenance. Some guests faced additional inconveniences, such as having to change rooms due to issues unrelated to the pool, like non-functioning amenities.
Overall, while some guests appreciated the pool, a significant number were dissatisfied with its condition and upkeep.
