Log Cabin Motor Court, located in a serene wooded area close to downtown Asheville, offers an idyllic setting perfect for a romantic weekend or a peaceful retreat. The historical charm and rustic ambiance of the 1920s-themed cabins seamlessly blend with modern amenities, creating a tranquil escape that is still close to the city's attractions, restaurants and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Visitors appreciate the history and unique character of the cabins, enhanced by lovely porches with rocking chairs, providing both comfort and convenience.
The cabins, nestled amongst trees, feature genuine hardwood floors, well-crafted wooden fixtures and kitchenettes, offering a cozy, home-like feel. While some aspects like squeaky floors and small bathrooms reflect their rustic nature, the overall experience is heightened by the attentive and responsive staff, making stays delightful. Cleanliness stands out as a major plus with multiple guests noting the exceptionally clean and comfortable accommodations, ensuring a restful night enhanced by particularly cozy beds.
Guests laud the helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff, who provide prompt and accommodating service, contributing significantly to the positive stay experience. Despite occasional challenges with the WiFi and cramped parking for larger vehicles, the convenience of parking right in front of the cabins adds to the property’s appeal.
The log cabins offer a restful retreat with a wonderful atmosphere and inviting ambiance. Pet owners will find the dog-friendly accommodations particularly welcoming with reasonable fees and amenities like a dog park and easy access to hiking trails. While some areas could benefit from minor improvements, Log Cabin Motor Court remains a highly recommended destination, perfect for those seeking a peaceful and unique escape in a charming, historical setting.
