Motel Nomad is widely appreciated for its strategic and convenient location, ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Situated close to the Cairns city center and major shopping outlets like DFO, the motel offers easy access to local amenities and attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. Its proximity to the airport further enhances its appeal for those with a vehicle, providing ample parking and straightforward access to main roads.
The motel staff receive high praise for their exceptional service and warm, hospitable interactions. Guests frequently cite the kindness and efficiency of the reception team, along with the friendly and accommodating management, as key factors in their positive experiences. This level of service contributes greatly to the welcoming atmosphere at Motel Nomad.
However, reviews of cleanliness and bed comfort at the motel are more varied. Some guests commend the clean and secure environment, enhanced by the attentive staff, while others note significant issues such as mould, outdated rooms, and maintenance challenges. Similarly, while many guests enjoy the comfortable beds with clean sheets, some report a need for updates, suggesting that more, and better quality, pillows could improve the sleeping experience.
In summary, Motel Nomad offers a convenient location, friendly and attentive staff, and reasonable comfort, though there are areas—particularly in cleanliness and bedding—that could benefit from improvements to ensure a consistently positive guest experience.

Il Centro Apartment Hotel offers a wonderful stay with its amazing outdoor pool just outside the room. This central location of the hotel with a pool is an added advantage for the guests. The pool area is a lovely space with excellent facilities. Although only two loungers are available, the pool itself is excellent and worth experiencing. However, some guests faced difficulties in maximizing the use of the pool due to the high pool and trade activity right outside their rooms. Also, there were some concerns regarding the darkness of the pool at night, making it uninviting for a swim. Overall, Il Centro Apartment Hotel provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay for guests looking for a pool-side vacation experience.
