The "Fairy Chimney" guesthouse is situated at the upper south-west end of Goreme in the heart of Cappadocia. Parts of the hotel are carved out of one of these world famous tufa rock cones, locally called 'fairy chimneys' (peri bahcasi)

The hotel's rooms used to be a part of a very old (1500 years) hidden Byzantine cave monastery. They are respectfully restored in a modest way, providing a very individual character. Their interior design is kept simple with colorful kelims and traditional rugs on the floor, in order to keep the old living functions visible to the visitor.
