Hotel EUROCAP - SKY APART HOTEL offers a balanced array of services and amenities with its location being one of its standout features. Situated in a quiet area close to Brussels, the hotel is praised for its advantageous proximity to the King Baudouin Stadium, Expo, Atomium and Mini Europe. Guests appreciate the tranquil surroundings and excellent public transportation links, including nearby tram and bus stops, which make city exploration easy. The availability of free parking adds further convenience, especially for those traveling by car.
The rooms are noted for their spacious layout and amenities, including kitchenettes with functional appliances, which many find useful. However, the quality of cleanliness and maintenance varies with some rooms reported as clean and comfortable, while others suffer from issues like dust, foul smells and outdated furnishings. This inconsistency extends to beds, where some guests found them large and comfortable, while others faced discomfort due to hard or worn-out mattresses.
When it comes to breakfast, guests have mixed experiences. Some appreciate having the option for a meal at the hotel, but many were disappointed by the quality and availability, often having to seek breakfast options elsewhere. Reports of overcooked croissants and weak coffee, combined with instances where breakfast was simply unavailable, reflect an area in need of improvement.
Cleanliness across the hotel is another point of contention. While a few guests reported clean rooms and bathrooms, many others experienced issues such as dirty mattresses, stained sheets and unkept premises, including mold and grime in the bathrooms. The hotel has received suggestions that its hygiene standards could significantly improve to meet guests' expectations.
In contrast, the staff generally receives positive reviews for their friendliness, helpfulness and accommodating nature. Reception staff, in particular, are frequently mentioned for their welcoming and supportive demeanor, though some inconsistencies in professionalism and availability were noted.
The Wi-Fi service, however, has garnered significant criticism. A common complaint is the poor quality of the connection with many guests finding it slow, limited or completely unusable, impacting their overall experience.
Parking receives a blend of praise and critique. Guests value the presence of free parking, which is seen as a considerable advantage. However, limited spaces and a challenging underground garage layout can cause frustration, particularly during busy periods or special events.
In conclusion, Hotel EUROCAP - SKY APART HOTEL stands out for its advantageous location, spacious rooms and friendly staff. Yet, it faces challenges in terms of cleanliness, breakfast quality, Wi-Fi reliability and limited parking spaces. For those valuing location and room amenities, it remains a solid choice, although areas of improvement could enhance the guest experience further.
