Hotel Quartier Latin boasts a swimming pool that is available for all guests, though a reservation is required and there is a fee of €5 per person. Despite some negative comments regarding the temperature of the pool water being cold, the majority of guests described the pool as "heerlijk" (lovely) and "zwembad" (pool), indicating an enjoyable experience. While some thought the size of the wellness area, including the pool and jacuzzi, was small, they still found it nice to use. Some guests did express disappointment over the pool being paid with one suggesting it should be free for hotel guests. Despite these concerns, the general sentiment towards the swimming pool at Hotel Quartier Latin was positive.

Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hostellerie La Claire Fontaine, Logis hôtels & Spa included has garnered widespread acclaim for its idyllic location, nestled in nature alongside the Ourthe River, offering guests a tranquil and picturesque setting. Despite its proximity to a busy road, the hotel's beautifully landscaped grounds, which resemble an arboretum, provide a serene escape perfect for relaxation and leisurely walks. The hotel's location also serves as an excellent base for exploring the historic village of La Roche and the broader Ardennes region. Guests frequently commend the property's calming ambiance, scenic garden-side rooms and ample parking facilities.
The hotel's dining experiences, particularly breakfast and dinner, significantly enhance guest satisfaction. The breakfast receives high praise for its varied and fresh offerings, often featuring local products and catering to different dietary preferences, including gluten-free options. The evening meals are notable for their outstanding quality and taste with guests often describing the three-course dinner as a gourmet experience. Despite occasional minor issues with service times, the general consensus is that the hotel's restaurant provides a delightful and valuable dining experience.
While guest reviews of the rooms are mixed, many appreciate the spaciousness, cleanliness and comfortable furnishings that contribute to a restful stay. Some rooms benefit from modern renovations and offer lovely views, though certain accommodations are perceived as outdated or small with occasional noise disturbances from traffic. The bathrooms, while generally clean, vary in quality with some guests noting minor maintenance issues.
Cleanliness across the hotel is mostly upheld with many guests highlighting the superb hygiene and tidy state of the rooms. However, there are sporadic reports of less satisfactory conditions in some areas, indicating room for improvement.
The staff at Hostellerie La Claire Fontaine, Logis hôtels & Spa included receive unanimous praise for their friendliness, professionalism and exceptional service. They enhance the overall guest experience through their courteous and helpful behavior, contributing significantly to the hotel's positive reputation.
Free WiFi is available, but connectivity issues are reported with guests often needing to be near the reception area to get a stable connection. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which are expected to resolve these issues in the future.
Guests also value the spacious and easily accessible parking facilities, as well as the hotel's dog-friendly policies, which make it a convenient choice for guests traveling with pets.
Despite these positive points, there are frequent criticisms regarding the hotel not consistently meeting the standards of a four-star establishment. Some guests feel that the ongoing renovations and certain outdated facilities fall short of the four-star promise, suggesting that further improvements are needed to fully realize the hotel's potential.
In summary, Hostellerie La Claire Fontaine, Logis hôtels & Spa included offers a charming and serene destination with excellent dining, friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. While there are areas in need of enhancement, particularly regarding room conditions and connectivity, the overall experience is positive, making it a favored choice for relaxation and exploration in the Ardennes.
