The location is a little out of the main city but is well situated to have a look around Hobart. The proximity to Battery Point and a great cafe Ginger Brown is a bonus. Guests love that the hotel is close to everything you may need yet so close to the CBD but you’d never know it once inside the gates. The view of Mount Wellington from the courtyard and guest rooms are stunning and are a highlight of the hotel. Islington Hotel is in a fabulous location and the gardens and surroundings are magnificent. It's a quiet spot and the staff are helpful and accommodating, making for a comfortable stay in a great location.
