Sunday Hotel Frankfurt Airport Kelsterbach is highly praised for its strategic location near Frankfurt Airport, making it an excellent choice for travelers seeking convenient access to the airport. Guests appreciate the efficient shuttle service and the quiet, peaceful ambiance, which is remarkably free from airplane noise despite the proximity. The hotel's reasonable price-performance ratio is also a significant draw, presenting a cost-effective alternative to pricier nearby accommodations. However, some logistical challenges with public transportation and hotel signage are noted.
The breakfast offering at the hotel is well-received for its extensive variety and quality with enjoyable options like a muesli bar with fresh fruit. The friendly breakfast staff contributes positively to the experience, although some guests feel that it can be overpriced and could benefit from being included in the room rate. There are occasional issues with availability and quality of certain items.
While the hotel lacks an operational restaurant and bar, leading to some inconvenience, staff recommendations for nearby dining options, including a newly opened Indian restaurant, are appreciated by guests. This helps mitigate the absence of in-house dining facilities.
Rooms at the hotel are typically described as spacious, clean and modern with comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms. However, guests have noted issues with inadequate air conditioning, minor maintenance problems and occasionally poor soundproofing. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is well-regarded, although inconsistencies such as dirty carpets and stained walls are occasionally reported.
The staff at Sunday Hotel Frankfurt Airport Kelsterbach receive high marks for friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism, enhancing the overall guest experience. However, there are isolated incidents where staff seemed overwhelmed or unmotivated.
Wi-Fi quality at the hotel is variable with many guests reporting a strong and reliable connection, while others experience slow and unstable service. The beds are generally deemed very comfortable, contributing to a restful stay, despite occasional mentions of firmness preferences not being met.
As a four-star establishment, the hotel meets expectations for many guests, offering good value for money. However, some guests feel that it falls short of the four-star standard due to limited amenities and cleanliness issues.
For business travelers, the hotel offers practical convenience with its airport proximity and suitable facilities for short stays and corporate events. Despite some service issues, staff friendliness and a good location make it a decent choice for business trips.
Couples, including honeymooners, find the hotel accommodating with specific packages and a clean, functional environment. Some suggest improvements to enhance the romantic atmosphere.
In summary, Sunday Hotel Frankfurt Airport Kelsterbach is well-regarded for its convenient location, cleanliness, comfortable rooms and pleasant staff.
