MASLINICA Hedera Hotel is frequently praised by guests for its exceptional location, nestled in a tranquil bay surrounded by forests, offering stunning sea views from spacious rooms and terraces. The proximity to the beach, promenade and town center makes it an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration. The clean and well-maintained outdoor areas, including multiple pools and pebble beaches, further enhance the serene experience.
Breakfast at the hotel generally receives positive feedback for its extensive and varied buffet that caters to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences. Guests appreciate the plentiful and quality options, describing it as delicious and diverse. Despite some criticisms regarding service and repetitive choices, the breakfast remains a strong point in the overall dining experience.
Dinner offers a mixed experience with praise for the delicious and varied buffet but also criticism for its repetitiveness and organization issues such as long wait times and overcrowding. Many guests still find the dining satisfactory due to the quality and plentiful food options and the well-organized seating arrangement with complimentary drinks.
The rooms are lauded for their spaciousness, cleanliness and breathtaking sea views, although some comments indicate a need for modernization and occasional maintenance issues. The cleanliness extends to the hotel's surroundings and pools, which are well-kept and add to the overall pleasant stay. Housekeeping staff receive recognition for ensuring clean and fragrant rooms with daily cleaning and towel replacement.
Staff service is a highlight with high praise for their friendliness, helpfulness and ability to communicate effectively. Notably, reception and restaurant staff are commended for their amiable and professional service.
Wi-Fi service, while free and widely accessible, often suffers from slow and unstable connections, detracting from the otherwise positive experience. The spa and wellness area is generally appreciated for its beauty and relaxation offerings, though some issues with staff competence and access were noted. The gym, equipped with excellent TECHNOGYM equipment, is well-maintained but could benefit from air conditioning and more space.
The pool facilities are popular, particularly among families, though some issues with overcrowding and cleanliness in certain areas exist. The convenience and cleanliness of the nearby beaches are well-regarded, though availability and comfort of sunbeds and umbrellas occasionally fall short.
Feedback on the beds is mixed. While some found them adequate, many highlighted issues with comfort, condition and the practice of combining single beds to form doubles.
Overall, while the hotel excels in its beautiful location, cleanliness and staff friendliness, there are areas such as dining variety, Wi-Fi reliability and bed comfort that could be improved to meet the expectations of a four-star rating. Despite these, the general consensus is that Hotel Hedera offers an enjoyable stay with plenty of positive aspects, making it a commendable choice for a seaside getaway.
