The pool at the Red Lion Inn & Suites Houston IAH Airport receives mixed reviews from guests. Many visitors appreciate that the hotel offers a pool as part of its amenities and some have remarked positively on the pool being open, clean and providing a pleasant experience. However, numerous reviews indicate serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Reports of residue, leaves and dirt floating in the water are common and some guests have noted broken pool furniture and unheated water. There are also mentions of the pool being old, poorly maintained and sometimes undergoing renovations that temporarily close it. Additionally, issues such as noisy guests and the presence of cockroaches have detracted from the overall poolside experience. It appears that while the pool has potential and serves as a welcome feature for some, its maintenance and cleanliness require significant improvement to meet guests' expectations fully.
