Overall, Ballard Inn is a great budget hotel located in the heart of Ballard. The comfortable and spacious rooms make up for the lack of air conditioning and shared bathrooms. The staff is friendly and provides excellent customer service. While some guests noted noise levels and dated facilities, Ballard Inn is still a great option for those looking for an affordable hotel in the area.

This hotel welcomes pets and has an indoor heated pool that guests just can't stop raving about! Multiple reviews have confirmed that the pool and jacuzzi were great with one mentioning that it was very relaxing. If you're planning to stay at Staypineapple, The Maxwell Hotel, Seattle Center Seattle with your family, the lobby and pool will surely keep your kids entertained. The pool was open during our stay and although it was small, it wasn't crowded. The picture of the pool showed some floats and toys that would've made it more fun, but we still had a great time. The pool area could have been cleaner, but we enjoyed the seating and lounge areas. Some guests felt that there should have been a hot tub as well. However, one guest mentioned that the pool was way overchlorinated, stinging their eyes and the pool shower was closed. It's also important to note that the pool was not working during the stay of some guests. On the downside, the resort fee was a bit high when considering that they didn't use the pool or the bikes offered by the hotel and coupled with the $37 parking fee. In summary, it’s not a large pool, but the pool area is fun and clean with good space for seating, lounging and enjoying yourself.

The Best Western Alderwood offers a mixed experience when it comes to its pool facilities. Visitors have noted that while the outdoor pool is small, it provides a nice setting for families, with many guests mentioning that their kids and grandkids enjoyed swimming. The adjoining hot tub has garnered positive feedback, with various guests expressing their appreciation for it. However, the facilities do face occasional setbacks, such as maintenance issues leading to pool closures or the hot tub being non-operational. Guests have also reported a lack of thorough housekeeping, leading to repeated trips to the front desk for basic supplies. Despite these challenges, the pool and hot tub seem to remain a highlight for many families staying at the hotel.
