The pool at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Indio - Coachella Valley by IHG receives mixed feedback from guests. Many find the pool to be clean, refreshing, and well-heated, providing a pleasant respite from Indio's hot climate. The pool seems to satisfy families, as it is adequate for younger guests, like a 12-year-old. Guests appreciate the ease of accessing poolside rooms upon request and enjoy spending time in and around the pool.
However, some feel that the pool area needs updating, and additional shade would enhance comfort during sunny days. There are concerns with the pool closing early at 6 p.m., which limits evening use, and occasional closures due to unspecified reasons. Despite these drawbacks, the proximity to local attractions like a nearby casino and a good buffet offers other engaging alternatives for relaxation and entertainment.
